Tickets & Prices

Yes ! Booking is essential as we only have a limited amount of space for cars.

What are the prices of the pumpkins?2023-08-18T18:40:44+01:00

We will have a variety of pumpkins and squashes (£2 – £12) – all are edible!

Card payment is preferred; however we accept cash.

What happens if there is bad weather ?2023-08-18T18:40:17+01:00

A bit of rain never stops us enjoying ourselves at Otto’s. We will remain open in most cases so bring appropriate clothing and footwear.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges outside of our usual policy unless we have to close.

Can I swap my tickets or get a refund ?2023-08-18T18:39:55+01:00

Tickets will only be refunded if we have to close due to bad weather and unsafe conditions.

We know however that sometimes life gets in the way of plans, so we do offer an exchange for another slot if you contact us here up to 48 hours before your booked visit.

The Facilities

We will have catering onsite thanks to My Little Drinks Van. Coffee, Tea, cakes as well as toasties.

You are also very welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy it in the field.

We have a Portaloo for emergencies. The pumpkin patch is a field so facilities are basic, with no running water or electricity.

Parking is next to the field and included in the ticket price.

The Farm

Car

The postcode for the farm is CM77 8DL.

Rail

Braintree Freeport station is a 15 minute walk from the farm, however take care as the last 200m there are busy road crossings with no provision for pedestrians.

Bus

The number 38 linking Halsted, Braintree and Witham passes close by the farm. The bus stop is called esxdwatj, opposite Fowler’s Farm. Care must be taken as the last 100m involves a busy road crossing with no provision for pedestrians.

Friendly dogs on leads are welcome. Please clear up after your dog.

The main paths will be mostly mud free (along as there isn’t too much rain!)

Off the paths it will be muddier and more uneven.

If unsure bring an old pair of shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.

We love to have organised groups. Please contact us beforehand though so we can make sure there is enough space on site!

The ground is uneven in places, however please contact us beforehand if you are concerned.

Choose from a variety of pumpkins and squashes of all shapes and sizes. Booking is a must!
